Sunthin Liquid is a clear, amber-coloured, viscous fluid. It is produced by drying and filtration of hydrated crude sunflower oil gum, which is obtained in the oil-refining process. It consists of natural phospholipids in their original relative proportions and sunflower oil.

The performance and fatty acid composition of sunflower lecithin is very similar to that of soya lecithin. However sunflower lecithin has higher levels of PC, providing excellent dispersing and emulsifying properties. It is a non-allergenic alternative to other lecithins, such as soya and rapeseed.
