SOYATHIN LIQUID ORGANIC
Soyathin, a Non-GM soybean derived lecithin is a phospholipid compound of fatty acids, glycerine, phosphoric acid and choline. It is an important component of cell membranes in humans, animals and vegetables. Lecithin can be obtained from various vegetable oils - such as soybean, sunflower or rapeseed oil - as well as from eggs. The phospholipid composition varies depending on the lecithin's origin.
Soyathin Liquid Organic is a clear, brown, viscous fluid. It is produced by drying and filtration of hydrated crude soybean oil gum, which is obtained by mechanical soybean crush. No chemical solvents are used in this process. It consists of natural phospholipids in their original relative proportions and soybean oil. Compared to lecithins from other sources it has a significantly higher level of linolenic acid and lower level of oleic acid.
Soyathin Liquid Organic is produced in India, one of the world's few Non-GM origins of soybeans. The country has established prohibitive barriers on oilseed imports to encourage and protect local producers, and to ban GM seeds from the Indian market. This makes India a reliable source for Non-GM soybean products.
